Duct Cleaning

A Higher Standard of Clean

Flash Air Care delivers cooler, healthier, more energy-efficient air than you’ll find anywhere. Our science-backed solutions and protective safeguards follow the gold standard set by NADCA (the leading national air duct association) and often go beyond the scope of other companies, as you’ll see below.

It’s in the Details …

We understand how essential indoor air cleanliness and comfort is to health and wellness. The difference is in the details. From the cleaning brushes and rods we use to our compact trucks and equipment to our advanced protective measures for your valuable contents – everything we do is designed with your health and comfort in mind.

The Flash Advantage

Our unique approach includes many fine details other companies overlook, including:

Brush & Duct Sizing
Matching the size of the duct brush to the size of the ducts. (You’d be surprised how few companies actually do this!)

Flex Duct Cleaning
Most people think you can’t clean flex ducts because they are so thin. They are actually quite resilient with expert care.

Advanced Agitation Method
We use an agitation method in which the brush is connected to a long rod. WE then feed that rod into the duct, with the brush spinning/cleaning and knocking off dirt and debris as it goes through. At the same time, we have a hi-powered HEPA vacuum collecting the contamination.

Compact Trucks & Equipment
We don’t use huge trucks, we use a powerful compact unit (best technology available today) that can be used in tight spaces. If using a huge truck, they have to leave their doors open for 2-3 hours for the job (bugs and humidity issue).

Protection of Home & Contents
Protect their home and valuables “contents” with painter’s grade plastic. In addition, we set up commercial air scrubbers, continuing to clean your air as we work – so we don’t bring any dust into the home. No one else does that.

Equipment Cleaning & Sanitization
Our equipment is cleaned and sanitized between jobs. We’re very conscientious about recontamination from one home to another. Unlike other companies, we
 don’t charge extra for it.

Duct Cleaning: Steps of Service

Step 1 – We discuss project, give accurate estimate (free onsite inspection)

Step 2 –  Protect contents and set up Air Scrubbers to clean while we work

Step 3 – Set up Equipment on site (ladders, vacuums, cleaning equip)

Step 4 – Remove all Vent Covers, take them outside the home, the vents and grills are among the most contaminated items in this process. We decontaminate them, clean and sanitize them.

Step 5 – We clean the Ducts, Agitator and Vacuum.

Step 6 – Perform additional services, coating ducts (antimicrobial), deodorizing ducts, repairs including leaks and duct renovation.

Step 7 – Reattach grills and cleanup.

Step 8 – Sanitize and clean our equipment once pulled from home, as it is important to prevent cross contamination between projects. Rarely does our competition take this extra step.

Mold Remediation (HVAC)

Mold remediation is closely linked with duct cleaning in South Florida, as many homes have poor humidity control. Mold can proliferate in this environment and lead to catastrophic consequences.  It is detrimental to air quality, causing a variety of health problems, and producing an unpleasant musty odor.

Mold contamination in your HVAC System is a major cause for concern as it can spread quickly through closed interior spaces. It should be removed quickly and safely by an experienced HVAC mold remediation company like Flash Air Care – with the knowledge and equipment to remove the mold with minimal disturbance, protecting your health and your indoor environment.

Importantly, mold remediation requires a state license and unique mastery that most duct cleaning companies and even other mold remediation companies lack.

Mold remediation helps to eliminate and/or reduce:

Allergens that cause sneezing, coughing, and headaches.

Unpleasant odors from mold can make your workplace an unwelcoming environment.

Continued mold growth

Degradation of building materials and building systems

Clothing, furniture, wood, being damaged beyond repair.

Poor health heath and performance of your AC system

Odor Remediation (HVAC)

When there is a musty odor when the air conditioner first comes on, it’s a good indication that odor elimination is necessary. Flash Air Care Odor Remediation includes Entire Home and Facility Sanitizing and Deoxidizing of all interior surfaces to remove odors and increase the cleanliness of your home Cleaning, decontamination, and refurbishment of the air conditioning system including the air ducts and air handler or package unit to remove the cause of odors, Mold Resistant Duct Coating to seal fiberglass ductwork after cleaning. Air duct replacement when ductwork is damaged or heavily contaminated with mold or mildew. Installation of high-efficiency air conditioners when your system is beyond saving. Installation of Ultraviolet Light Systems with Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO) to minimize odors.

Since your odor removal solution may vary based on a number of factors, a Flash Air Care Odor Elimination Expert will need to assess your particular situation to provide you with the right solution.

Odor remediation helps to eliminate and/or reduce:

Odors from smoke, cooking, animals, and trash

Musty smells from mold and mildew

Fire, Water & Smoke Remediation (HVAC)

When your property is damaged by fire, smoke or water, your HVAC system should be thoroughly checked and cleaned to ensure harmful particles and moisture are properly removed.
The interior surfaces of your HVAC system and air ducts can collect and retain moisture, smoke and other contaminants following the initial damage. Even if your HVAC system wasn’t in use during the disaster, it is strongly advised that your ducts and HVAC system are inspected before use.
Fire, smoke, and water damage restoration is a complex process, but it doesn’t have to be difficult. Rely on the help of professionals to get life back to normal quickly.
